WoW Item Upgrades
Item upgrades, also referred as "upping" are items or enchantments that can be used to boost the stats of weapons and armor. These upgrade components add a certain number of points to a level gauge for the item, with their costs scaling with their popularity.
The melee PvP scene is extremely reliant on an optimally rolled version of the armor for its ability reduce weapon damage.
Type-restricted upgrades
Upgrades are an essential part of the equipment crafting process. Upgrades can be used to increase the effectiveness of an item, enhance its strength or give it a bonus effect. They can also alter the appearance of the item. Some upgrades are universal, whereas others have specific rules for weapons and armor. The wrong upgrade could ruin the weapon that was previously excellent, and could even render it unusable.
As a rule it is possible to upgrade an item of equipment up to the level of its highest-level counterpart. You are able to upgrade helms only to the highest level. Weapons, on the other hand can be upgraded to the level of a sword. This does not increase the weapon's power of damage and can reduce the value of trade.
You can upgrade an item using crests or flightstones. The amount of each depends on the item's level and slot. Jewels

Requirements
